At Learning Leaders of New York, We specialize in matching your child to the right highly trained professional tutor. We believe that while a good teacher can teach anything, there are areas and grade levels in which educators excel. We call this their "expert" area. We work to find the correct expert for your individual learner. We will work directly with your family to evaluate what your child's

needs are and together we will create specific learning goals for him/her. At Learning Leaders, we promise your child will get a unique, amazing and top notch experience. In your child's tutoring session, we are able to assist with homework help, reading skills, writing skills, math, social skills and test taking strategies. All tutors are up to date with all teaching methodologies including the Common Core Curriculum. We also have tutors who specialize in working with Special Education students. Whatever needs your child has, we have the right expert for them. We are here to help you help your little learner. Our goals are the same as yours...to have your child love learning and excel in school. Learning Leaders started when I took a hiatus from the classroom. Having young children at home I wanted to be with them but also continue to work in the field of education. I began tutoring and before I knew it had more clients than I could handle. 1-1 tutoring can be in person as well as learning groups!
I can wear a mask if that makes families feel more comfortable!
You can also set up tutoring in small groups! This will drive down your cost and still make your child’s learning experience effective!

I know that our children need MORE than what they have been getting. I know they crave interaction and learning! This is where I come in!
As a licensed literacy specialist and teacher, I can help your children prevent the dreaded summer slump!
This summer, when your children are needing engaging instruction, I will be there to help them by working in small groups of similar age children. We will read books together, do math together, and have fun together. We will learn with current friends, and make new ones! We will complete final projects that promote a love of literacy!!
