๐ 2026 Pine Log STEM Career Day was an incredible day of learning, exploration, and inspiration! ๐ (Part 4)
As a Georgia State Certified STEM School, one of our goals is to help students understand that what they learn in the classroom has a purpose beyond the classroom. STEM Career Day gave our students the opportunity to connect their grade-level learning to authentic careers and see how the skills they are developing today are used in the real world.
Our students experienced an amazing variety of STEM careers and community partnerships both inside and outside our school!

What makes this day so meaningful is the connection between classroom learning and the workforce. Students saw math, science, technology, engineering, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and collaboration in action through authentic experiences.
These experiences also support our Kโ12 CTAE vertical alignment, helping students begin to see the connection between the skills they are learning in elementary school, future educational opportunities, and careers in their communities and beyond.
Most importantly, our hope is that every student leaves STEM Career Day thinking:
๐ญ โI could do that!โ
A HUGE thank-you to all of the professionals, businesses, agencies, colleges, and community partners who took the time to share their careers, expertise, and experiences with our students. You helped us show our students that the learning happening in their classrooms today can open doors to their future tomorrow.
