GHS sophomore Tripp Johnson heads to the TSSAA Class A Boys Golf Championship this Monday and Tuesday (October 5-6) at Sevierville Golf Club. ⛳️ He will be teeing off at 10:42 a.m. on Monday.

Tripp has worked hard to earn his spot at the state championship, and we’re excited to see him compete. Good luck, Tripp! 🎉

Last Monday, Julisa Roman, a 2025 Grainger High School graduate and current Army Reservist, visited to share her military experience with our JROTC cadets. As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, she answered questions about pay, jobs, and life in the Army Reserves, and discussed how JROTC prepared her for service. 🇺🇸

We’re proud of Julisa and grateful she took the time to inspire our cadets!

The Lady Grizzly Volleyball team defeated Volunteer last night and punched their ticket to the Regional Tournament the week of October 12! 🎉🧡💙

But they’re not done yet! TONIGHT they’re competing for the District Championship against Cherokee!

Mr. Cornett’s welding students put their skills to work creating a custom storage rack with a clothing rod for Mr. Wolfenbarger’s classroom! 🛠️👔

It’s amazing to see our students using their talents to support their school and fellow teachers. Great teamwork and craftsmanship!

Last Friday, the Grainger High School Boys Golf Team wrapped up an incredible season with a 2nd place finish at the Region Tournament! This team has shown tremendous growth, grit, and dedication all year long. Well done, Grizzlies! 🧡💙

Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team as well for a fantastic season! Your hard work and improvement have been outstanding! 🏌️‍♀️

🏆 Huge shoutout to Tripp Johnson, who finished 1st overall and earned Region Individual Medalist honors! Tripp is heading to the TSSAA State Golf Tournament to represent Grainger on the biggest stage!
