I’m not sure I have the words to describe the pride, love and excitement I had on Friday traveling up to Burlington with my oldest and her buddy to cheer on our friends in hockey and the state championship for basketball. Women’s sports at RHS are on fire! They might not have ‘won’ their games that night, but they’re all champions in my eyes. We aRe Rutland! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

This a horrible photo of me. I still wanted to share it because I was incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to teach a dental health lesson in a 4th grade classroom today at RIS.
The students were one of the most respectful classes I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been in quite a few over the 20 years I taught dental health in 12 different schools and preschool.
They were kind. They asked thoughtful questions. They included me in their community meeting.
The halls were bright and cheerful. People walking to where they needed to be. Smiles all around.
I love our schools. I miss being a part of a school team that helps to raise up our future.
It was only 45 minutes. Phoebe Forman thanks for welcoming me into your space.

The palm card is one of the oldest and simplest forms of campaign literature—small enough to carry, but big enough to make an impact. As one historian put it, they’re “large enough not to get lost in a lady’s purse, but still the perfect size for a gentleman’s pocket.”

At Rutland Forward, we’ve updated this classic for the digital era. Save the image below to your smartphone’s camera roll so you can reference it inside the voting booth on March 4, 2025.

Better yet, text it to your friends, family, and neighbors. A strong Rutland starts with informed voters (you can learn more about each candidate at www.rutlandforward.com), and together, we can keep moving our city forward!

Please read my letter and reach out if you have any questions.I appreciate your support.

Yesterday I spent my morning in preschool classrooms to teach about the importance of dental health. I also had the honor of volunteering to do this in one of my favorite classrooms at Northeast Primary School.
I ended the evening hosting the Rutland Town School talent show.

“I am running for re-election to the Board because service to my community is ingrained in my core, and because I have truly enjoyed serving the voters of Rutland City in this incredibly important capacity. Outside of being a Board Commissioner, I continue to coach youth soccer, to serve as the lead parent for Rutland City’s youth recreation swim team, to be a lead volunteer at my daughter’s school, and hopefully, once again, a commissioner on the Rutland City School Board. I assure you my authentic, inclusive, and committed approach to serving this community and our students will persist in having a long-lasting impact on the learning community of the Rutland City Public Schools.”

Vote Marybeth Lennox-Levins for Rutland City Board of School Commissioners on March 4th!

"I am a proud Rutlander with decades of experience with Rutland schools as a student, parent, and educator. I believe in the potential of our school system and I have the perspective needed to work alongside the community toward constructive improvements. I want to help continue to make it a place where all students, staff, parents and community members know it’s where our future will be nurtured and thrive. I will also work to help teachers, staff, families, and students feel safe, respected, and nurtured in their studies and activities."
