Rutherfordton Elementary PTO

PTO is looking for help with a few of our teacher/staff appreciation days. If you are able to help with any of the following days that would be great. Just come to the office and let them know you are there to help with PTO.
FRIDAY April 29 @ 1:00- helping pack room service bags
TUESDAY May 3 @ 7:30- delivering room service bags to the classrooms
FRIDAY May 6 @ 12:30- delivering ice cream to the classroom (ice cream will already be in cups no need to scoop!!)

We are half way through the Penny Wars!
Here are our current standings:
1st place: 2nd grade 4613 points
2nd place: 5th grade 1228 points
3rd place: 3rd grade 377 points
4th place: 4th grade 199 points
5th place: kindergarten 132 points
6th place: Pre-K negative 10 points
7th place: 1st grade negative 449 points

Just a reminder pennies and bills are positive points for your grade level and all silver coins should be placed into another grade level's bin as they count as negative points!!

Thank you to those parents who have volunteered to help with our fall festival. We are still in need of about 15 volunteers to make this a great event for the kids. If you are able to help it would be greatly appreciated!!

PTO meeting Wednesday October 13th
6:00 at RES

We would like to host a fall festival for the kids on October 29th but we need your help!!! Without parent volunteers this event will not be able to happen, so please consider helping out. Details will be discussed at the PTO meeting at 6:00 on Wednesday October 13th. If you are unable to attend the meeting but still would like to help at the event please email Jessica Steiner, PTO President at [email protected] or send a message via Facebook messenger.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting and planning a fun event for our kids!
