This past Saturday, members of Felician University's Pre-Med Society, alongside faculty mentor Dr. Jose Montalvo, traveled to NYC for SGULive, hosted by St. George's University School of Medicine! From hands-on vital sign demonstrations to informational sessions on medical school admissions, financial aid, and healthcare, our gained valuable insight into their future careers in medicine.

With New York City just 10 miles away, opportunities like these are right within reach, making the most of everything Felician's location has to offer! 👏

An afternoon of tea, conversation, and connection at Iviswold Castle! ☕🏰

Felician University recently welcomed members of the Retired Nurses Association for a special Tea Time at the Castle. Guests had the opportunity to explore our historic castle, tour the Barbara J. Toscano Nursing Resource and Simulation Center, and reconnect with fellow nursing professionals, including alumni of Felician College and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Big news for Felician University! 🎉

Felician has been awarded a $3 million Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) grant from the U.S. Department of Education (Administered by the Department of Labor), to advance student success, workforce readiness, and AI innovation over the next five years.

This funding will enable Felician to develop new student-learning tools for workforce-readiness programs and experiential-learning programs; enhance its learning-support ecosystem; improve physical environments for learning and student success; and leverage AI and technology to expand student learning opportunities and support services.

"We are extremely grateful to be the recipient of this grant and that the U.S. Department of Education has recognized the value of our proposed initiatives. These funds will help fuel the future for our students by providing access to the support, tools, and experiences they need to enter the workforce prepared and skilled in their chosen fields," said Mildred Mihlon, PhD, President of Felician University.

Alberto is a Student-Athlete studying finance and running hurdles for our Men's Track and Field team. He chose Felician due to our close knit community and our proximity to New York City! When he’s not hitting the track or studying, Alberto is making the most of his time as a Falcon and building memories with friends that will last beyond his time at Felician.

From All-American honors to her ambitions beyond the field, senior Kimberly Torres continues to build an impressive legacy at Felician University. 🥎👏

Felician University was pleased to welcome Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President of Istanbul Aydin University, to campus during his visit to the New York area for United Nations General Assembly week.🇹🇷 🤝

During the visit, President Aydin and Felician University President Dr. Mildred A. Mihlon signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement, marking an important step forward in the academic partnership between our institutions. The collaboration has already led to the development of dual-degree programs in Computer Science and Cybersecurity, with additional exchange opportunities in Education and Nursing currently underway.

With support from the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, Felician University continues to expand international partnerships that provide meaningful academic and cultural opportunities for students and strengthen connections across institutions worldwide.
