The entrepreneurial spirit was on full display at last week’s Entrepreneurship Mixer! 🐾💡🚀

Students from across campus gathered to connect, collaborate, and get the scoop on the upcoming Top Dog New Venture Championship to be held on Thursday, Nov. 5.

With $10,000 in prize money on the line, Top Dog challenges students from all majors to pitch innovative business ideas to a panel of judges.

This summer, Baylee Mabou, Madilyn Boose, and Will Scott spent four weeks studying abroad at IÉSEG School of Management in France, gaining international business experience while exploring Paris. 🇫🇷 ✨

From social media marketing and global management to fashion and luxury marketing, these Bulldogs gained an international perspective in their studies and immersed themselves in French culture along the way.

A look back at how our freshmen kicked off the quarter ⬇️

During Freshman Night, students used Whop, a digital commerce platform that enables entrepreneurs to launch and manage online businesses, to turn ideas into marketable businesses in a matter of hours.

This is just one example of how innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship are woven into our students' experience from day one.

The newest members of the Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community kicked off the year’s programming with inspiring words from WRLDINVSN CEO and co-founder Marlon Watts, a College of Business alumnus. Marlon shared his entrepreneurial journey and offered advice to the group.

LLC members also heard from John Hill and Brett Malinowski from Whop, an online platform that enables entrepreneurs to scale customer acquisition and distribute products with a few clicks.
