🎉 Happy Grandparents Day! 🎉

Today we celebrate the grandparents who love, encourage, pray for, teach, help, cheer on, and walk alongside our homeschool families.

🦁💚 Today’s RCH Kick-Off gave new and prospective families a chance to learn more about who we are, what we offer, and the community waiting to welcome them. This is also an opportunity to give our current families a chance to reconnect as we head into a new homeschool year!

We’re also incredibly thankful for the local organizations and resources that took the time to connect with our families today or provide information for them:

🍀 Lincoln Parish 4-H
📚 Amy Beasley with Beyond Words Dyslexia Therapy
🌳 The Orchard Ruston

A very special thank you to Temple Baptist Ruston for graciously hosting us and providing a wonderful space to gather.

And, of course, we can’t forget Kona Ice of NELA! 🍧 Snow cones are ALWAYS a crowd favorite!

RCH is about so much more than activities on a calendar. It’s about connection, encouragement, resources, and community as we walk this homeschool journey together. ✨ New member registration will continue to be open! Find out more at rustonch.com

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. We’re excited for all that this year has in store! 💚🧡

💙 For 2.5 months, one of our dear RCH friends, Lux, has been courageously fighting after suffering a severe heat stroke during football practice. His family has been walking an incredibly difficult road, and they continue to need our prayers, encouragement, and support.

Pre-Order forms for Jambalaya pans must be submitted by Tuesday, August, 25th. You can pickup and submit forms at two local businesses:

📍The Vintage Hound
208 W. Alabama, Ruston | Open Wed.-Sat. 10am-6pm

📍Rust Magnolias
2372 Hwy. 33, Ruston, LA | Open Mon-Sat 10am-6pm

✨ Every purchase helps ease the financial burden of medical expenses for Lux and his family. Most importantly, please continue to lift Lux and his family up in prayer. Thank you for showing what makes our community so special. ❤️
