Our 7th graders had an unforgettable day in our nation's capital! They had the opportunity to tour the U.S. Capitol and experience history and government beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to Jack Walker and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson for giving our students the opportunity for a private viewing from the Speaker's Balcony. What an amazing experience and a view they will not soon forget!

Twelve Cedar Creek students got a hands-on look at healthcare yesterday at North Louisiana’s “Get Into the Guts” event! 💚💛

Professors, university students, and healthcare professionals from across North Louisiana, including Louisiana Tech University and the University of Louisiana at Monroe, guided students through interactive learning stations. Students explored speech-language pathology, the skeletal system, nutrition and dietetics, phlebotomy and laboratory science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and more. They also practiced safely removing contaminated gloves and learned about opportunities with St. Francis hospitals.

Thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge and helped our students explore the many ways they could make a difference through a career in healthcare!
