Louisiana Tech Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership offers a variety of career options for those interested in teaching.

Certification pathways include elementary grades PK-3 and 1-5, middle school grades 4-8, and secondary grades 6-12. Faculty members are nationally known for publications, research, presentations, and exemplifying best practices in teaching and learning. All teacher education programs have been approved by the Louisiana Department of Education, Louisiana Board of Regents, and NCATE. Faculty are int

erested in knowing their advisees and in providing quality counseling as needed for all teacher education candidates. The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership offers a number of Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral programs. Currently, the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership offers a number of M.Ed. programs specifically targeted at areas of core competency. In addition, the Department offers the Ed.D. in Education Leadership with concentrations in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, and Organizational Leadership.
