We’re thrilled to announce that Prescott Memorial Library has been chosen to host "Americans and the Holocaust", a traveling exhibition from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association. The exhibition will be located on the main floor of the library from October 26 - December 3, 2026. Additionally, we’ll be hosting a variety of events throughout our exhibit period. Stay tuned for the full program schedule and more details!

This week, we celebrated the retirement of someone who has been an integral part of the Prescott Memorial Library family for nearly three decades.

After 27 years of dedicated service, Mr. Bob Woody is beginning a well-earned retirement. Since joining Louisiana Tech University in 1999, Mr. Bob has been a welcoming presence at the circulation desk, assisting countless students, faculty, staff, and community members with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Behind the scenes, he also cared for our library through stack maintenance, billing, and his service on the Building and Safety Committee and Signage Working Group.

For many, Mr. Bob's familiar smile and steady presence have been a constant at Prescott Memorial Library. His years of service have left a lasting mark on our library and the people who have had the pleasure of working alongside him.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Bob on his retirement and thanking him for his many years of dedication to Prescott Memorial Library and Louisiana Tech University. While he will be greatly missed, he will always remain a cherished member of the PML family. 💙

Prescott Memorial Library will be closed tomorrow in celebration of the Fourth of July. Our summer hours will resume on Monday, 7/6. We hope you all enjoy a fun, firework-filled day with your friends and family! 🇺🇸🎆
