Louisiana Tech alumna, Katelynn’s Levesque❤️💙

This week’s Employee Spotlight is Katelynne Levesque from I.A. Lewis!

Katelynne has been with Lincoln Parish Schools for 11 years and serves as both a math teacher and instructional coach at I.A. Lewis. One of her favorite parts of teaching is helping students build confidence in math and watching them go from “I can’t do this” to realizing they can.

This year, she’s also working alongside fellow teachers as an instructional coach, helping plan instruction, share ideas, and find ways to better support students.

Katelynne says one of the things she appreciates most about I.A. Lewis is the sense of community among students and staff. After 11 years, she also loves getting to see former students graduate, pursue their goals, and grow into young adults.

Her best advice is something she carries into the classroom every day: struggling with math doesn’t mean you’re bad at it - sometimes you just haven’t learned it yet.

Thanks, Katelynne, for all you do for our students and staff!
