Aim true. Press on.

There’s something pretty fitting about seeing these words come to life on the archery range.

At Onward, “Aim True” is about more than hitting a target. It’s a reminder that knowledge alone isn’t enough—what we learn, how we grow, and who we become should ultimately be directed toward Christ.

And “Press On” reminds us that the journey will include challenges. We persevere, continue growing, and keep moving onward with our eyes fixed on the One who gives it all purpose.

This week, our students got to practice that lesson quite literally. 🎯🏹

Aim true. Press on.

Setting goals. Taking ownership. Growing on purpose. 🌱

Our third graders are reminding us that growth starts with knowing where you’re headed!

At Onward, we want students to see themselves as active participants in their education: setting goals, embracing challenges, and celebrating progress along the way. 💚

There’s something special about the start of a new school year! From first-day photos and teachers making memories of their own, to students jumping right back into hands-on learning (Skittles included!), our halls are once again filled with laughter, connection, curiosity, and plenty of Onward fun. We’re grateful to have our community back together and excited for all this year will hold. 💚

We welcomed Cookie and Angel, two adorable ponies from Promise Ranch, to chapel this week! 🐴 Our students learned that in the same way sheep (and ponies ‍🤷‍♀️) know their shepherd's voice, we can hear God's voice, too. Jesus is our Good Shepherd - the way, the truth, and the life. Thank you to Promise Ranch for visiting our chapel this month!!

Opportunities like this don’t happen without generous community partners.

Thank you to Zeppi Construction for donating the labor to install our new volleyball posts—creating more space for students to build teamwork, confidence, and a love of learning through sport. 🏐

We’re so grateful for your support!

Through their travels in Italy, our students engaged with history and culture firsthand, growing in both knowledge and global perspective. We're so grateful for teachers who enrich our students' lives through learning experiences like these! 💚
