While I absolutely love my Beretta 1301 decked out in Adam Roth goodies, teaching with my boys trainwithwillis Symtac Consulting Ashton Ray Zach Cox during Shotgun Jamboree at the Tactical Defense Institute, they convinced me to finally ditch my old Wi******er 1300 Defender. She’s been replaced with this sweet Re*****on 870 Police Magnum. Planning to send her off to Vang Comp Systems LLC | Tactical Shotguns since 1990 soon for them to work their magic!

Matt Haught of SymTac Consulting giving me and my boy Jonathan the time to run their Skills Gauge challenge during lunch at Shotgun Jamboree down at TDI last weekend. Clean run in 5.16. Too bad the time standard is 5.00 or less. Not too bad for shooting it cold.

Didn’t have my pump gun readily available, so I borrowed Jonathan’s for a pump gun run. 5.47 (par time is 6.00 or less) but pulled my short stock shot 1.5” right. Next time fellas!!!

This weekend is the first inaugural Shotgun Jamboree at at Tactical Defense Institute, where I am honored to teach along side Rob & Matt Haught (SymTac Consulting), Tim Chandler & Ashton Ray (360 Performance), Adam Roth (Aridus Industries), Zach Cox (Train With Zach) and my brother from another mother Jonathan Willis (TDI & Train with Willis). I’m gonna be in good company this weekend teaching the way of the shotgun! Here we go!

I sold my Springfield Prodigy back in early April to upgrade. After a 15 week wait, I’m happy to say my Stealth Arms Platypus has arrived! It feels like a work of art in my hands. Can’t wait to put some rounds through it!
