The Beta Nu Chapter is officially in session! Entering our 64th year of collegiate service and sisterhood on the Arkansas Tech University Campus! We are so excited to be back! We set some of our goals for the semester! We also took a stand for Tau Beta Sigma and completed our annual hazing workshop! Beta Nu is back!!!

We are proud to announce that current chapter President, Jacob Stover was elected this past semester to the Southwest District Council of Tau Beta Sigma.

Jacob will serve the southwest district as Vice President for Special Projects for the 2022-2023 school year!

Today we honor our chapter, our alumni, and our founder. 64 years ago the ladies of Alpha Tau saw a vision and Chief Witherspoon helped them obtain a charter.

On March 14th, 1958 Beta Nu was granted a charter. 64 years of service and sisterhood at Arkansas Tech University.

These women paved the way for the sisterhood we know today. We honor all of our former, current, and future members today. The legacy of Beta Nu will continue and the sisterhood will remain alive.

In addition to Beta Nu and our birthday we celebrate and honor our founder, Wava Banes Turner Henry as it is her birthday. Without her we would not be here. We would not have the sisterhood that we love so dearly.

Beta Nu presents our next Women in Music speaker! This Wednesday at 7:00 we get to hear from Adjunct Professor of Music and Yale Distinguished Music Educator, Patricia Oeste! Mrs. Oeste instructs elementary methods as well as class piano here at Arkansas Tech! Come and join us in a presentation you will not want to miss!! 🎶
