Russellville and Valley Christian kids welcoming the Pottsville kids back from their first day of school.

Went to pleasant view park and happpen to see officer Knight. He was so kind to show the kids his patrol car.

Went on to find a couple of geocache sites. Found one inside an old telephone. Got chased off a couple other places by wasps and fire ants.

The owners of the skating rink had a death in the family and will not be open Friday. We let the kids vote on an alternate activity. The vote was for a pizza party. We will also go to the park weather permitting at 1pm.

Our back to school cookout had a great turnout today. 8-5-26

We got to see a great magic show Monday. Our school age kids got to share the experience with the kids from Shinn’s Preschool and our preschool 4 & 5 year olds.

Jr. Naturalist class at the State Park. The school age kids learned how to identify trees by looking at their leaves. 6-29-2026

We have had a big day at the Clubhouse today! Enjoyed a Pizza Party, had sno cones and had a paper airplane contest. We even shared sno cones with the preschool 4&5 year olds.

We had an awesome trip to St Mary’s Hospital. Carleigh Powell did an excellent job organizing a program for our kids. We had representatives from Labor and delivery, the Lab, Emergency Room, stroke awareness department and a talk on dental care. We were even given snacks and goodie bags. Thank you St. Mary’s Hospital for investing in our future. One of the presenters today was a former student at the Clubhouse.
