Here's the bottom line: if you think higher education should be accessible to all, and if you think graduating with a high earning potential is a good thing, Arkansas Tech University is your kind of place.
A report from the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education demonstrates that Arkansas Tech University is No. 1 in the State of Arkansas when it comes to providing both a high degree of student access and high earning potential after graduation.
There are 22 four-year institutions of higher learning in Arkansas included in Carnegie’s study. Of those, Arkansas Tech is the only one listed by Carnegie in both its “Higher Access” and “Higher Earnings” categories.
“Arkansas Tech exists, first and foremost, to provide the people of our state with access to the life-changing benefits of post-secondary education,” said Dr. Russell Jones, ATU president. “This data is evidence that we are making the pursuit of high-quality degrees and credentials affordable, delivering value for that investment and connecting students with a better standard of living after graduation. As we mark our 117th academic year, Arkansas Tech remains a place of opportunity for the working families of our state to improve their lives through higher education.”
