St. John Catholic School St. John's Catholic School has been establishing Christian values in River Valley kids since 1947. All faiths are welcome. The school is ANSAA accredited.

Montessori Pre K -5th grade is available with before and after school care. John is a Catholic elementary school affiliated with the Diocese of Little Rock. We strive to inspire leader

Mrs. Vega attended school at St. John in the mid 50's when the school was located in Dardanelle. She returned to the area with her family in 1992. She worked at a teacher at St. John from 1992 until she retired in 2020. She was known for her kindness and calm presence and was loved by the entire community, especially her many students.

May her soul rest in peace. Amen

Words cannot express the gratitude we have for our first-grade teacher. Today, she was recognized as one of the Top 4 finalists for the Arkansas Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (ANSAA) Teacher of the Year Award.

As you can see from the letter written by one of our parents, she is truly one of a kind. Through her dedication, compassion, and faith-filled example, she inspires her students—and everyone around her—to serve Christ and one another through both our words and our actions. We are incredibly blessed to have her as part of the St. John Catholic School family and congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition.
