We can’t believe today is the last day of Work of
Heart. 🥹
We were very intentional about our prayers before starting this business. We prayed for God’s guidance before opening to the public. Carly and I completed a book together by Joyce Meyers titled “Do It Afraid.” We needed strength only He could provide to take on such a big responsibility. We quit our jobs as teachers and took a huge leap of faith. He opened doors and put everything in the palm of our hands. The transition was incredibly easy and so much fun.
We are so grateful for this experience. As I reflect on the past 2+ years, I see how the Lord aligned this journey for the good.
After years of praying for a blessing, God gave me a friend that prayed for me and encouraged me daily. He knew starting this business would give me a lot more freedom to pursue the desires of my heart. He knew I needed Carly’s words of wisdom along the way. I couldn’t have went through everything without Carly, and I will be forever grateful for her friendship and for being my sister in Christ.
We started this journey with one child at Work of Heart and now we have 4. ❤️
Most of you have asked why we are choosing to leave a successful business behind. We want to focus on motherhood and do what’s best for our family. Owning a business takes a lot of dedication and hard work, but so does motherhood. ❤️
We hope you enjoy some of our favorite pictures from our time of being business owners and mothers to our Work of Heart babies behind the scenes. 🥹❤️
We will see ya later. 👋🏻
We are open today from 3:30-5:00.
