Transforming your life doesn’t have a deadline. Whether you are stepping back into the classroom to earn your **GED** or mastering a new language through **ESL**, every single hour you invest in yourself is a building block for a brighter future.

As an advocate for adult education, I see your grit, your sacrifices, and your determination every single day. You aren't just changing your own life—you are rewriting the future for your families and your communities.

But inspiration only gets us to the starting line. **Action** is what crosses the finish line.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to take that next step, this is it. Here are **3 actionable steps** you can take *today* to kickstart your journey:

* **1. Make the Call / Send the Email:** Reach out to a local adult education center, community college, or library. Just ask one question: *"How do I sign up?"*
* **2. Dedicate 15 Minutes:** You don’t need hours of free time to start. Commit just 15 minutes today to downloading a study app, reading an English article, or reviewing one math formula.
* **3. Define Your "Why":** Write down the exact reason you want this (a better job, setting an example for your kids, personal pride). Put it somewhere you can see it every single day.

The road might feel long, but you do not have to walk it alone. There is a whole community of educators, mentors, and fellow learners ready to back you up.

Your past does not define your future—your actions today do. Let’s make it happen! 💼✨

This Fourth of July was more than a celebration—it was a celebration of hope, perseverance, and new beginnings. 🇺🇸❤️

I had the privilege of meeting with former students who are still committed to achieving their dreams. During one session, we accomplished three important milestones:
✅ Worked on GED preparation
✅ Shared online tutorial resources
✅ Scheduled an upcoming Math GED test

This is why I remain passionate about being an Adult Education Advocate. Even beyond the classroom, I am committed to providing guidance, online learning resources, encouragement, and support to help adult learners reach their educational goals.

We are making it possible—one student at a time.

To every student on this journey: Believe in yourself. Stay consistent. Never give up. Your dreams are worth the effort, and I believe in you. You are stronger and more capable than you realize.

Every lesson learned, every test passed, and every goal achieved is another step toward transforming your future. Keep moving forward—you’ve got this!

Together, we continue changing lives through education.

To all of my students,

As I reflect on the last 11 remarkable years, my heart is filled with gratitude. Serving at Logan County Adult Education has never been just a job—it has been a calling.

Watching each of you believe in yourself, earn your GED, improve your English, gain new skills, start a career, or continue your education has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Every success story reminded me why I chose this path.

I began my own journey as a learner, and through faith, hard work, potential, and skills, I became a Career Navigator that end my journey in Logan County Adult Ed this year.

Because of that experience, I understood what it feels like to doubt yourself, to struggle, and to wonder if you are capable. That’s why I always believed in you—even when you didn’t yet believe in yourself.

Seeing students transform from having little confidence to unleashing their full potential has been the most rewarding part of my career. You didn’t just earn diplomas—you discovered your strength, your purpose, and the best version of yourselves.

Although this chapter has come to an unexpected end for me, it is not the end of my passion. My heart for serving others remains the same. A job title may change, but my mission never will.

To every student I have worked with: thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. You have inspired me just as much as I hope I inspired you.

Please remember this: never stop believing in yourself. Your dreams are still possible. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep moving forward. Your story is far from over.

And if you ever need encouragement, guidance, or someone to remind you of your potential, please don’t hesitate to reach out; you've got my number or just DM me. I may no longer be in the same office, but I will always have a heart for students and a heart for service. God's plans are greater than you can imagine, so hang in there until the perfect time and place occur! I will see you until the next chapter opens the door for a full passion to serve the community to give HOPE and Light to our Society to transform lives.

With love and gratitude,

Ms. Rita ❤️

🚨 Adult education funding is on the line.

On June 5, Congress will begin making decisions about Fiscal Year 2027 funding for adult education.

The programs that help adults earn diplomas, learn English, gain job skills, support their families, and build better futures depend on these investments.

If adult education has ever changed a life you know, now is the time to speak up.

COABE's 3-clicks advocacy tool makes it easy to contact your Members of Congress in less than a minute and urge them to protect and increase adult education funding.

Every message matters. Every voice counts.

Take action today and help ensure adult learners are not left behind.
