🇺🇸 Honoring Dolly Parton 🇺🇸

Valley Christian School is flying our American flag at half-staff in honor of Dolly Parton, in accordance with the official order to lower flags.

We pause to remember and honor a beloved American whose music, generosity, and kindness have touched countless lives. Dolly has also made a lasting impact on children and education throughout the years, including her support of early childhood literacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, helping provide free books to children and encouraging a love of reading.

Her commitment to giving back and investing in children has made a difference in communities across the country and beyond.

A message from Coach Pipes:

The Valley Christian School Lady Hawks traveled to SCA last night to continue regular season games for Varsity and JV Volleyball against the Lady Lions.

The Valley Christian Athletic Department would like to thank Advanced Solutions, Inc. - ASI for being the title sponsor for last nights games.

Though It was a night of mixed results, one constant remains, our girls continue to show improvement every time out under second year Coach Hunter Ellis

Though the Varsity Girls lost their first game of the regular season there were plenty of bright spots throughout the night. Sophomore Cora Smith, returning from an ankle injury that limited her preseason preparation once again exhibited stellar overall play. She also came up with multiple saves that could best be described simply as hustle plays, earning her the varsity game “Shout Out”

The JV Lady Hawks came out on fire and cruised to their first win of the season winning the first two sets in the best two out of three match. It was a great team effort highlighted by 8th grader Alina Terrell who recorded points with the first 15 serves of the game earning her the JV game “Shout Out”

We are so proud of all our girls and Coach Ellis for continuing to represent Valley Christian in the “River Hawk Way”.

As always we are appreciative of all those who made the trip and represented River Hawk Nation.

And again, a huge thanks to Advanced Solutions, Inc. - ASI for their continued support of Valley Christian athletics.

A message from Coach Pipes:

Last night Valley Christian treated our Volleyball, XC, and Basketball teams to a Pizza/Bowling Party at Strikers Bowling Alley as a reward for all the hard work and training they have put in through the summer.

It was a night of fun for our student/athletes and hopefully great memories were made.

Thanks to Strikers Bowling Alley for making the evening great, Dominoes for the Pizza, and Coach Sanders, Coach Ellis, Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Curtis for giving up their evenings to chaperone and allow these kids to have some fun.

📢A message from Coach Pipes

It was another exciting evening for the Valley Christian School Lady Hawks Volleyball Program last night as they traveled to Conway to take on the Faulkner County Falcons.

The Valley Christian Athletic Department would like to thank Thrive Pediatric Therapy for being the title sponsor for last nights games.

All of our Volleyball teams continued to show improvement under second year Coach Hunter Ellis.

The Varsity Girls won their 2nd game of the regular season in as many chances to improve their record to 2-0 on the young season. They will be back in action this Friday and Saturday in a tournament at SCA

We are also appreciative of all those who made the trip and represented River Hawk Nation.

Valley Christian School would like to thank Central Beekeepers Supply LLC for being the title sponsor of Tuesday night’s Lady Hawk Volleyball games at the Fort Smith Patriots.

The Varsity Lady Hawks won their first regular season contest winning the game in 4 sets, 3-1.

This win also marked the first regular season Varsity Victory for Coach Hunter Ellis.

We are so proud of Coach Ellis, all our Lady Hawks for the hours of work and practice they have put in.
