The day before school starts is a great time to slow down, prepare, and help children feel confident for the year ahead! 🍎📚
A calm and organized evening can make the first morning back much smoother for everyone.
A few simple ways to get ready for the first day:
🎒 Pack backpacks and lay out clothes for the morning
⏰ Set alarms and review the morning schedule
🥪 Prepare lunches or snacks ahead of time
📚 Talk positively about the new school year and goals
😴 Encourage an early bedtime to help students feel rested
❤️ Remind children that it’s normal to feel excited, nervous, or both!
Tomorrow begins a new year of learning, growth, friendships, and opportunities. Wishing all students, staff, and families a wonderful first day and a successful school year ahead!

Just a REMINDER!! There's a work bee at EES this morning.

I wanted to thank the numerous parents and students that have already arrived to help with the playground and flowerbeds this morning. Our Eisenhower community and families are truly amazing.! Again,THANK YOU!

I also wanted to thank Briggs Transport for helping us out. We truly appreciate you!

As summer winds down, now is the perfect time to help children ease back into school routines! 📚⏰
Starting small adjustments before the first day of school can help students feel more rested, focused, and prepared for a successful transition back to the classroom.
A few helpful ways to get back on track:
🌙 Gradually move bedtime earlier each night
😴 Re-establish consistent sleep and wake-up routines
📵 Limit screen time before bed to support better sleep
🥞 Practice school-day morning routines, including breakfast and getting ready on time
🎒 Begin organizing school supplies, backpacks, and schedules
📚 Set aside quiet time each day for reading or learning activities
