Henna is a dye prepared from the plant Lawsonia inermis, also known as the henna tree, the mignonette tree, and the Egyptian privet, the sole species of the genus Lawsonia. 🪷
Culturally henna is mainly used in the celebration of special occasions such as weddings and birthdays in the joyous gathering of people. The Henna paste symbolizes good health and prosperity is in marriage, and in some cultures, the darker the henna stain, the deeper the love between two individuals. 👰🏼♀️
The enrollment of one of our newest students who is from India has peaked our interest in the art of Henna considering the nature of our school, finding new fun ways to explore beauty is what we are about! Starting next Tuesday we will be offering Henna tattoos as a service! 🇮🇳
