I was not our class president or even a class officer but so many people have asked me about our upcoming reunion I thought I’d create this page as a way to help get the plans underway.

Please keep our classmate, Rebecca Hicks (Becky Jones) in your thoughts and prayers. She is having bypass surgery tomorrow. Please remember her husband and our classmate Bryan Hicks and their family as well.

So, a few of us met this evening and have come up with three options for our reunion. Due to COVID-19 it is going to be hard to find a venue to have anything on a Saturday. The KHSAA is meeting again on Aug 20th to determine whether there will be a football season so tailgating probably won’t be an option. Our thoughts are leaning toward waiting until spring, having a 31 year reunion, or waiting until 2025 and just have a 35 year reunion instead. Your thoughts and/or ideas are appreciated.

So, the KHSAA has finally decided we will have a football season. Initially, we set our reunion dates for Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th. The 11th is homecoming (as of now). I will call the school tomorrow to see if that is still the case. Who would be willing and able to meet to start planning?

It looks like our reunion dates will be Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th. Friday evening will be a tailgate at the homecoming football game against Lawrence County. More details will be forthcoming. I wanted to get the dates set for those who have to travel. I hope everyone is staying safe 💙
