Start your 4 day weekend with a show and snack at BES gym! All families are encouraged to join regardless of attending Breaktime. This year we are playing a 50 minute Wild Kratts show so it will be shorter than a typical movie. Thank to SES & BES PTO for providing the popcorn!

Last week, we had the opportunity to hear from the Kansas Wetlands about the life cycle of a monarch butterfly. All of the kids really enjoyed being able to see all of the stages a butterfly goes through. Also a huge shoutout to the Deines Cultural Center for hosting both Breaktime sites for this amazing experience!!!

And that's a wrap on the 2025 Summer School session!!! Thank you to all of the students that attended our program. A huge thank you to the teachers that planned exciting, engaging, and fun activities for the students in grades K-6. We had water games, learned how to juggle, the littles performed a circus for the big kids, the big kids made apple juice slushes and so many more things happened in these short two weeks!!! We can't wait to see you back full time in a few weeks. Enjoy the rest of your break!

We were so EXCITED to welcome 100 of our students back to summer school today!!!! It was such a great day seeing the students back in the building. The teachers have put in a lot of hard work to prepare for summer school and hopefully the students had as much fun as the adults did! We can't wait to see you all again tomorrow!

Bronco Breaktime and SES & BES PTO will be co-sponsoring our second family night. All families are invited to join us in our Family Movie Night on Thursday, March 6. SES students will be bussed over to BES so please pick your child up there if you are not able to attend the event. This event is for ALL FAMILIES at Simpson and Bickerdyke, not just Breaktime families.
