🔐🔎 BREAKING OUT OF MATH CLASS! 🔎🔐

Who knew solving multi-step equations could be so much FUN?! 🧮🎉

Today, Mrs. Brockman’s 8th grade math students took on a Multi-Step Equations Breakout Box Challenge! They put their math skills and vocabulary to the test while racing against each other to solve clues, crack codes, and unlock every lock on their boxes! 🔓

There was LOTS of competition, collaboration, critical thinking, and excitement! It was fun watching them work together, problem-solve, and refuse to give up when things got tricky!

Learning + teamwork + a little friendly competition = a GREAT day in math class! ❤️📚

🧹⚓ Happy National Custodians Day! ⚓🧹

Today we’re celebrating the amazing people who work behind the scenes every single day to keep RCMS clean, safe, and ready for our Lakers! ❤️🤍💙

A HUGE thank you to Kenny, Charlsea, Greg, Josh, Velma, Travis, and Melissa for all the hard work, early mornings, late afternoons, and countless things you do that often go unnoticed. Your dedication makes a difference in our school every day, and we appreciate you more than you know!

Help us show some love to our incredible RCMS custodial crew! 👏❤️

🍬📐 Math + Snacks = A Sweet Learning Experience! 📐🍫

Our Falcons have been working on scale drawings as a fun math activity before fall break! Students brought in one of their favorite snacks or candies and used measurements and scale to create an enlarged drawing of their item.

Most students used a scale of 1 cm = 1 inch and did a great job applying their math skills to a real-world project! We love making math fun, creative, and meaningful! 🦅❤️💙

🏈🐍 Fantasy Football Week 3 with the Cobras! 🐍🏈

This week we dug into running back statistics and used real NFL data to keep building our math skills! 📊🏃‍♂️ Check out this week’s rankings and the Top 6 teams in each class! 👀🏆

🍂 Next week is Fall Break, but the NFL doesn’t take a break! 😂 Parents, remind your kiddos to SET THOSE ROSTERS next Tuesday if they are a Cobra!🏈

Can’t wait to see how the rankings shake up after another week of football!

🏈❤️🤍💙 8TH GRADE NIGHT ❤️🤍💙📣

Last night, we had the privilege of celebrating our 8th grade football players and cheerleaders as they took the field at Finley Field for one of their final home games as RCMS Lakers.

These students have spent countless hours at practices, games, and on the sidelines representing RCMS with hard work, dedication, teamwork, and plenty of LAKER PRIDE! ⚓️

We are so proud of the athletes they have become, but even more proud of the young men and women they are becoming. As their middle school chapter begins to wind down, we know there are many exciting things ahead for this special group.

A huge THANK YOU to the families, coaches, teachers, and fans who have supported them along the way. ❤️

To our 8th graders — enjoy every remaining practice, every game, every cheer, and every moment with your teammates. These are the memories you’ll carry with you long after the final whistle. 🏈📣

😂📣 Our RCMS cheerleaders have been cheering for the Lakers for a LONG time! ❤️🤍💙

In honor of 8th Grade Night, we decided to take a little trip down memory lane… WAY down memory lane. 👶🎀

They may look a little different these days, but that Laker spirit has clearly been there since day one! 📣

We love celebrating our 8th grade cheerleaders and all the fun, spirit, and memories they’ve brought to RCMS! ❤️💙
