Thanks to our partner in education, Suncoast Credit Union, winning principals and top student readers will receive prizes.

We’re ALL IN for October!

October has a little bit of everything: heritage and history, health and wellness, literacy, the arts, disability awareness, bullying prevention, digital citizenship, school bus safety and, apparently, an entire month dedicated to pizza. We can get behind that one. 😂

And we know many of you have already joined THE PTA this school year. If you haven’t…we’ll forgive you. You’ve got all of October to fix that. 😉 Join your local PTA, add your voice and get involved in the work happening for children and families across Florida.

October is also an important civic engagement month. Florida’s statewide mandatory early-voting period begins October 24, though counties may begin as early as October 19. Check with your local Supervisor of Elections, know where and when you plan to vote, and make your voting plan before you need it.

There’s a lot happening this month. What are YOU doing in October?

Whatever it is, we’re ALL IN.
