Next month (July) I celebrate 5 years of flight instructing. Currently 2657 hours of dual instruction given. Being a full time independent CFII can’t happen with this level of success without a team…and obviously without an airplane. Grateful.
Grateful to Donald Allen, Craig Cornell, Joe Casey, Mark de Rouville, Jake Gardner, Dan Huerta, Brian Ridgley, and Jeremy Rhodes who have generously teamed with me in my flight training efforts by providing their airplanes for me to train the next generation of aviators.
Also, I would be remiss if I did not express deep gratitude to David Bogan and Charles Crossman who kept and keep my training airplanes flying every day.
Finally, to my son Brad Morrison who is the GOAT of a flight school/flight training mentor and encourager to me. His wisdom, experience, and expertise have been and continue to be extravagant gifts and an irreplaceable cornerstone of Morrison Aviation as we are evaluating expanding into a second location.
To my wife Sherri, who has endured daily post flight “briefings” of each day’s flights and to all my students and each of those mentioned above…”thank you” falls short. I’m honored and humbled.
Here’s to 5 more (at least) years of producing safe, proficient pilots.
