A Place To Grow Childcare/ Preschool The comfort and care of your child in a loving home environment! Hey everyone! I will post updates and pictures (with permission).

I am starting this page to use as a place for parents, family members, and friends to check in and see the fun activities and projects your children are doing while they are in my care :) It’s a great way for parents to be a part of their child’s day! This will allow parents to post comments and ideas, while also helping them keep in touch with other parents.

We have decided to open TWO more preschool spots for the 2023-24 school year!

These spots are available to children ages 3+ and fully potty trained. (No exceptions)

We’re easing back into our classroom schedule this month! We have reunited with our friends who were out for summer break and have slowly started phasing out our summer time routines. New students will start trickling in soon 😊

Today Mrs. Fudge taught our first Ag in the Classroom lesson of the school year. We learned all about dairy cows 🐄 milk 🥛 and all the food that dairy is used in. The kiddos made homemade ice cream and were given a toy cow to take home to show their families!

It’s hard to believe we are wrapping up the last full week of the school year! Our final topic for May discussion is Plants 🪴 Which made Mrs. Fudge’s timing perfect for a lesson on sunflowers 🌻 We learned all about sunflowers and their seeds. She also presented our class with the book “Sunflower House” and gave us all some sunflower seeds to plant at home. We have planted seeds at school in hopes of having our own sunflower house to play in this summer!

In class we learned all about the different parts of a plant and what they need to grow big and strong. The children made their own diagrams of plant parts. They did a wonderful job following directions and their projects turned out perfect 😊

It got a little wAcKy in here this week 🤪 To wrap up Dr. Seuss week we threw an UNbirthday party 🥳 Today we celebrated by having pizza and pancakes for lunch and dressing in some silly outfits and hairstyles! We sang “Happy NOT Birthday to Us”🎈🥞 🍕 and continued reading some of our favorite Dr. Seuss books.
