Arika Marlatt of First5 Rush County's Early Learning Coalition came to read at Little Stars this week! She read, “Will I Have A Friend?” and brought a copy for each of our students. It blended perfectly with the beginning of school and all of our new friends we’ve made. Thank you Miss Arika!

We had the most wonderful field trip to Clifty Creek Alpaca Farm! Farmer Diane taught us all about her alpacas and sheep she has on her farm and how she gets fiber from them. We were able to feed the alpacas and of course, Miss Tilly the pet sheep! Clifty Creek has an open house coming up on October 3rd. Go like their page and take a trip out there. It’s totally worth it!

Once again, Little Stars is selling the amazing Circle R Candle Co. candles that are handmade in RUSH COUNTY! All proceeds will go toward playground ground cover.

If you’ve been looking for a preschool where your child can learn, grow, make friends, and feel right at home, we would love to meet you.

We currently have a few spots available in BOTH of our preschool classes:

3-YEAR-OLD CLASS
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
12:30-3:00 PM

4-YEAR-OLD CLASS
Monday-Thursday
8:30-11:00 AM

School starts August 17th, so now is the perfect time to come take a look at our small little school and see what Little Stars is all about.

Tomorrow, another class of Little Stars will walk through the doors of kindergarten.

It feels like yesterday they were learning to write their names, counting to 10, making new friends, and filling our little school with laughter.

As we send off our 22nd graduating class, we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you. We know you’re ready to learn, grow, and shine in this exciting new chapter.

Parents, thank you for trusting us with your little ones. Watching them grow has been one of our greatest joys.

Good luck to all of our Little Stars on your first day of kindergarten. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do!

Opening day for Little Stars will be August 17th and we can’t wait to see old friends and meet new friends! As always, starting a new school year can be expensive. We have some necessities and some wishes on our Amazon wishlist. We always appreciate our donors that help out every year.
