Another school year in the books! ✅

May Day field activities started at 11:00 am, and students had so much fun playing games with their classmates! A cookout lunch was provided by the PTO—thank you to those who helped grill and pack lunches for our students!

After lunch, students met in the gym for a dance party, and we ended the day with many rounds of tug-of-war between our graduating 6th graders and staff, parents, other grades, and siblings.

It has been an awesome year at St. Mary's! We hope our 6th-graders have a fun time in middle school next year, and we pray that all of our families have a safe summer break! ✝🐯💚

To begin our last day of school, we enjoyed Mass this morning with Fr. Bobby, followed by awards in the church and classroom. In the church, we presented our Excellence Attendance award to many students who missed three or fewer days this year, and our Perfect Attendance award to four boys who did not miss any days this year. Our 6th-grade graduation was on Saturday! 💚🐯🎓

Mass was led by our 6th-graders, and Fr. Bobby spoke to our graduates during the homily about middle school and always remembering God is with them.

At the end of Mass, Miss Neuman awarded the Holli Spaeth Outstanding Christian Living Award to Harper Amos! Congratulations, Harper!

After Mass, we honored our 6th-graders with awards and a reception, and thanked our St. Mary School parents whose last or only child is in our graduating class!

Thank you to all who helped organize the reception for our graduates and their families!

Both of these gentlemen were recipients of the St. Mary School PTO Scholarship. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors in your collegiate chapter! Sam will be attending DePauw University, and Eli will be attending Butler University this fall.
