Dear families,

We’re going to Kanab, Grand Canyon, Sedona in Summer 2027, and we’d love for your student to join us!

We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Explore America, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for this opportunity: https://rsvp.efexploreamerica.com/3xan5yf

When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.

In this info session, we’ll talk about:
How this experience will benefit your student
What we’ll see and do on our trip
Everything that’s included in this tour
How your child can earn academic credit
How we’re keeping this safe and affordable
How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) and get a limited time discount

There are limited spots on this trip, and those at the meeting will have first access.

We are transitioning from Remind to ParentSquare for all school communication!
Parents and guardians, an invitation has been sent to the email address you have listed with the school. Please follow the link in that email and complete these steps:

Activate your ParentSquare account.
Enter your email address or phone number.
Click Get Started.
Confirm your information.
Confirm each child connected to your account.
If everything is correct, click Yes, This Is Me.
Download the ParentSquare app.

ParentSquare will be used for communication from the school, teachers, athletics and activities, and the district. Please activate your account and download the app so you don’t miss important information.

Once you complete these steps, you will be ready to start using ParentSquare!

One week countdown for all 6th graders!
We have a special first day planned just for you on Thursday, August 20! This morning will give you a chance to become familiar with East Minico before all students return.
🕗 School begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m.
🚌 Buses will run their regular routes for pickup and drop-off.
🍽️ Lunch will not be served.
During orientation, students will:
Receive a copy of their class schedule
Learn school expectations
Practice opening their lockers
Walk through and practice their schedules

We can't wait to see all of our new 6th graders!
