Thank you to all who stopped by the PTA table to sign up!!! We had a great turn out. We are about ready to draw a name out of the raffle for the $99 Meat Bundle from Hy-Vee! Stay tuned!!!
Just a friendly reminder, if you did sign up for the PTA tonight there is a $5 annual due that each member needs to pay which goes towards our State of Iowa PTA association dues.
If you forgot to pay, you can send cash in an envelope with your student to school, check made out to Runnells PTA or our Venmo account. We have the QR code on the front of the flyer.

You will have 2 chances to enter the drawing

1) Stop by the PTA table tonight: sign up and pay $5 for annual membership dues.

2) Scan the bar code for our Box Tops App or show that you already have the app for Runnells Elementary on your phone

🎉OPEN HOUSE🎉
Thursday August 20th 4-6pm

📚Be sure to stop by the PTA table and sign up. Only $5 to join. The sign up fee goes towards our annual Iowa PTA Association dues.

We will have volunteer sign up sheets for our Spring Fundraiser and Monthly Teacher Treats.

⭐️Don’t forget to get your free ice cream treat from the PTA🍦

A few reminders for this Thursday

1. Student Pictures - New this year, student pictures will take place during Open House from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Please stop by the gym at Open House to have your student's picture taken. You will check in at the table in the gym and get instructions on how to proceed to get their picture. Picture Retakes are on October 5th during the school day.

2. Open House Hours - Hours of open house are 4:00-6:00 pm. The school doors will not open until 3:55 pm.

3. School Supplies - If you ordered school supplies this summer through the school supply company, the supplies will be delivered to the classroom before Open House. If you did not order school supplies, you can drop your student's supplies off in the classroom the night of Open House.

4. New Administrative Assistant - Please also welcome Emily Burke, our new Administrative Assistant. Emily comes to Runnells from Altoona Elementary after Mrs. Miller's retirement.

5. School Supply Donations
We will have a bin for school supply donations. Please bring any extra supplies you have have for students in need. Thank you!
