We’re extremely proud to share the Senior Cooper Barrett has been named a Semifinalist in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Cooper ranked in the top 16,000 of 1.2 million juniors participating last year by taking the 2025 PSATs.

Cooper will continue on in the competition for about 6,700 National Merit Scholarships worth approximately $24 million, which will be offered next spring.

12 additional RFH seniors were named Commended Scholars in the program, placing them in the top 50,000 of test takers.

Congratulations to our scholars 🎓 on this achievement and best of luck to Cooper in the competition.

The full article and list of Commended Scholars can be found in the Bulldog News section of our school website.

In May 2026, 51% of our student body stepped 🪜 up to take on the challenge of Advanced Placement Exams—taking 126 more exams than the previous year.

Their hard work paid off in a big way ✨: 90% of all exams scored a 3 or higher, and 178 students earned official AP Honors recognition.

We couldn’t be prouder of our scholars for raising the bar, pushing their limits, and demonstrating what true dedication looks like, nor of our incredible faculty for guiding them every step of the way.

Wishing our current AP students and teachers good luck as they start this year’s AP adventure 🛣️!

Yesterday, we wrapped up our Bulldog Career Institute with an incredible final workshop session on resume building and networking graciously led by ✨! Last month of the school year…last few moments to celebrate the amazing accomplishments of the 200+ members of the 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🎓!

Together, they’ve garnered more than 1700 college acceptances to more than 275 unique colleges and universities with an estimated $14 million in merit-based scholarships.

We couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve done as Bulldogs 🐾 and their post-graduation plans 💫 for the future!

BEST.DAY.OF.THE.YEAR 🌟 It was an absolutely beautiful morning for our annual Bulldog 🏅 Games! Getting to see our students, along with our friends from Knollwood, RBR and Shore Regional, shine ☀️🌈 is something the entire community looks forward to each year and today’s festivities did not disappoint! Endless thanks to Mr. Zullo, Mrs. Shay, and Mrs. Malaney for always continuing to raise the bar and expand this special event!

Last week, our National Social Studies Honor Society partnered with Rumson’s America 🇺🇸 250 Committee to host the 𝓐𝓶𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓪 250: 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓰𝓸𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓷 𝓦𝓪𝓻𝓻𝓲𝓸𝓻𝓼 panel.

As part of the efforts around the community to celebrate this milestone, our students were lucky enough to hear the varied perspectives, experiences and insight of Claire Garland (local Lenape native), Gerry Scharfenberger (NJ politician and archaeologist), and Rick Geffken (Monmouth County historian and author) moderated by Dr. Chuck Jones from the Monmouth County 🪶 Historical Association.

A special thank you to our in-house organizers, Mr. Colella and Mrs. Crowley, for all of their hard work and to the Rumson America 250 Committee for bringing this opportunity to our stage!
