Dismissal times will be as follows:
High School 10:00 A.M.
Middle School 10:45 A.M.
Elementary Schools 11:30 A.M.

YIMS hosted its Cougar of the Month Assembly for our students chosen throughout the school year. Thank you to Ms. Lyons for sponsoring our program and congratulations to all the students who were nominated and selected during the year. Congratulations to Daisy Miller for being chosen as the YEA grade 8 student of the year!

The YHS and YIMS bands combined for our annual Memorial Day parades in West Newton, Herminie, Rillton, and Smithton. They kids did an awesome job! We are so proud of them! Thank you to our communities within Yough for making this such a great day! To all our Veterans, thank you for your service and we hope that everyone has a happy and safe Memorial Day

Thank you to Ms. Kelly for sponsoring our recent grade 8 field trip to the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville. The 8th-grade class attended the Flight 93 Memorial on Wednesday, May 22nd. It was a very meaningful day for the students. They heard first-hand accounts of what happened on that tragic day. They explored the visitor center and walked to the crash site to visit the Wall of Names. Friends of Flight 93 provided a $1,500 grant that made transportation possible.
