Today our little explorers got to dive into some hands-on learning with slime! โบ๏ธ
As they stretched, squished, rolled, and pulled their slime, they were doing much more than just having fun. Sensory activities like this help strengthen the small muscles in their hands, support fine motor development, encourage problem-solving, and build the focus and coordination needed for future preschool and kindergarten skills such as writing, cutting, and other classroom activities.
The children loved exploring the different textures and discovering how the slime moved and changed as they played. To top off a fun day of learning, each child got to take their slime home to continue the exploration with their families! (Sorry parents ๐ฌ๐)๐ We still have a couple of openings for our 2 1/2 and up group ๐บ๏ธ
