🌧️ CHALK THE WALK CANCELLED 🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature isn’t cooperating with us! Due to the forecasted rain, Chalk the Walk scheduled for Saturday, August 8 has been cancelled.

We were looking forward to filling the sidewalks at RES with colorful, positive messages to welcome our Soaring Eagles back for the first day of school. 💚🦅

Thank you to everyone who planned to join us, and please help us spread the word!

The countdown to a new school year has begun! As you start planning for August, here are a few important dates to keep in mind:

🎪 August 1: Back to School Carnival (9:00AM-12:00PM at Martin Mooney Field at WMHS)
🏫 August 6: Open House (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
🎒 August 11: First Day of School!

Let's kick off an amazing school year by filling the sidewalks at Ruckersville Elementary School with encouraging messages, colorful drawings, and lots of school spirit!

Bring your sidewalk chalk and join other RES families as we create a warm, colorful welcome for our students and staff before the first day of school. Whether you draw an eagle, write an inspiring message, or decorate with your favorite colors, every contribution will help make our school feel extra special!

Come to one of the orientations (in our cafeteria) we’ll be offering to families at Open House on Thursday, August 6th:
- Kindergarten Orientations are at 1 and 6 pm
-Orientation for ALL other age groups will be at 1:30 and 6:30 pm
