For the past several weeks Hart CPR Training has been teaching Emergency Medical Responder to a group of “new recruits”!

This week we entered week 2 of Emergency Medical Responders class with Rescue 22 and their new staff.

A huge shout out and thanks to Fireman/Engineer (EMT) Matt Green of the Anderson City Fire Department, and Paramedic Supervisor Marc Schultz of Prisma Health EMS for their assistance in teaching last night!

The students are making amazing progress and have been a blast to work with! I am looking forward to continuing this journey with them through graduation, in early November.

This class curriculum covers the four primary topics necessary to deal with life threatening hemorrhage.

Tourniquet application, would packing, trauma dressing and chest seal application.
