Please help us welcome Mikala Welch, the new Executive Director of the Royse City ISD Education Foundation!

Mikala brings passion, proven leadership, and a deep commitment to supporting students and teachers. She joins us after nearly five years of leading the Community ISD Education Foundation, where she strengthened local community partnerships, expanded student scholarships, and led a record-breaking 2026 grant cycle that brought incredible resources directly into classrooms.

"We are beyond excited to bring Mikala on board," said Lyndsey Sutton, Education Foundation Board President. "Her energy, vision, and heart for education make her the perfect fit for the RCISD Education Foundation. We know she is going to do amazing things for our teachers and students."

Mikala’s leadership will be key as we continue our mission of funding innovative classroom projects and honoring outstanding educators across Royse City ISD
