We’re thrilled for this year’s main fundraiser: our Ruth Cherry Glow Run! Our fundraising goal is to raise $13,000 for student and staff campus incentives, books for the book vending machine, recess equipment, and staff appreciation to benefit our students at Ruth Cherry Elementary.

Families will gather donations through MyBooster.com by simply sharing your student’s page with friends and family. Every share makes a difference!

Students will also enjoy 'Global Kitchen Club,' an exciting character-building adventure where they'll learn important values through recipes and activities popular around the world.

We are excited to welcome you to our “Simply the Cherry Best” Meet the Teacher Night on August 6th from 4:30–6:30 PM! This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, drop off school supplies, and get ready for a wonderful year ahead.

We will also host Title I Night from 4:00–4:30 PM in the cafeteria, where you can learn more about our program and how it supports our students.

🎒 Supply Drop-Off: Families are encouraged to bring and leave school supplies during Meet the Teacher Night.

💻 Teacher Assignments: You can find out your child’s teacher in Skyward starting at 12:00 PM on August 5th, the day before Meet the Teacher Night.

🍎 Kindergarten Enrollment Reminder: If you have not yet enrolled your kindergarten student, now is the time! We are excited to welcome all of our newest learners.

As we prepare for the start of school, the YMCA is offering a special Race to Register promotion from August 7-10. Families will receive 50% off the registration fee for each child, a savings of $50 per participant.

Today we had the opportunity to welcome our newest staff members to campus! We spent time getting to know one another while diving into our campus mission and vision, setting the foundation for an incredible year ahead.

We are excited to have these amazing educators join our team and can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll make on our students and school community.
