πβ»οΈ Help ROWC Support the Environment! β»οΈπ
The Royal Oak Womanβs Club Environmental Committee is continuing two ongoing collection projects, and weβd love your help!
π Battery Recycling Program
Bring your used or dead batteries to General Meetings or club events. A collection container is available at the clubhouse, and batteries will be taken to SOCRRA periodically for recycling.
β οΈ For safety reasons, please place a small piece of tape over the terminal ends of each battery before donating.
𧴠Plastic Bottle Cap Collection
We are also collecting plastic bottle tops! These caps may be used to help create a bench or chair for our clubhouse garden. πΏ
Please bring your caps to meetings or events, or contact Jessica Conway for more information about acceptable caps.
Thank you for doing your part to help the environment and support ROWC sustainability efforts! π
