Breast Reconstruction After Mastectomy: For those patients who do not have adequate lower abdominal soft tissue for DIEP flap breast reconstruction, SGAP flap is a great substitute. Unfortunately, the patient will have scar on their upper buttock.

For the past 8 years, we have certified few hundreds of physicians and mid level providers who were interested in microvascular surgery. We offer both basic and advance microsurgery courses.

Some patients have limited abdominal tissue for breast reconstruction after mastectomy, this particular patient needs more abdominal tissue than usual for a unilateral breast reconstruction after a ni**le sparing mastectomy. We used all four zones of abdominal tissue and “supercharged” the blood supply to make sure that all the tissue is well perfused. In addition, we routinely provide sensory restoration for all our autologous breast reconstruction patients.
