Right after the caps rained down, the field was flooded with love as families and friends rushed in for the ultimate celebration. 😭❤️

🎓 IT's ALMOST OFFICIAL! 🎓
What an emotional and unforgettable morning at RHS! This morning, we held our traditional Changing of the Guard ceremony—a powerful passing of the torch for our campus.
During the assembly, our incredible Class of 2026 seniors officially signed their names to commit to their next big steps—whether heading off to college, entering the workforce, or joining the military. Right after, the entire student body shifted sections: our juniors proudly marched into the senior section, sophomores became juniors, and freshmen took over the sophomore rows, with our 8th graders flooding the freshman section! The future is officially here. 🌟👏

Due to low enrollment, Saturday School has been canceled. Originally scheduled for 05/30.
Parents and students, this means there will be no additional Saturday opportunities to make up missing work. Students, it is important that you complete and turn in your assignments during your regular classes.
Take advantage of the time and support available each day through June 10 to get caught up, stay on track, and finish the year strong. Be here, be engaged, and make every day count.

☕️🚌 FIELD TRIP RECAP: Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🎒✨
Last week, our amazing Royal Roast and Cafe 116 students headed to Spokane for a hospitality and tourism field trip, funded entirely by their hard work keeping our campus morning and lunch schedules consistent this year!
Through our catering and box lunch program, these students gain incredible real-world skills—from drink formulation and cost analysis to large-scale food production. This trip allowed them to see those skills in action at the next level! Here is a look at what they experienced:
🌱 Spiceology: Toured the facility to learn about their history, rapid growth, production, and vibrant company culture. 🥕 Charlie's Produce: Explored the produce industry, sourcing, distribution timelines, processing, and organic vs. non-organic lines. ☕️ Doma Roastery: Learned about coffee history, bean sourcing, and small vs. large batch roasting while touring their facility. 🍳 Inland Northwest Culinary Academy (SCC): Discovered culinary programs, tasted fresh bread, and made valuable industry connections!
They wrapped up their amazing days with a beautiful dinner at Ruins and a visit to the Kendall Yards Night Market.
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible school district and staff for supporting our students and making hands-on learning experiences like this possible! ❤️ 🏫

🥁🎷 An Unforgettable Night of Music! 🎺🎵
What an incredible evening at our End-of-Year Band Concert! Our talented musicians poured their hearts into the performance under the fantastic direction of Erich Mietenkorte. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our arts program and celebrate a year of hard work and beautiful music.
We also had a very special moment during the concert as we recognized two outstanding seniors who have dedicated the last seven years to our band family:

PJ and Sofia, thank you for your leadership, passion, and commitment to our music program from middle school all the way through graduation. You have left a lasting legacy here, and we can’t wait to see where your talents take you next! 🌟
