I got to spend my Valentine's Day with these wonderful kiddos! I always try yo do a project that they can either gift or keep for themselves.
Yesterday, we taste tested chocolate, and today, we dipped a variety of things in tempered chocolate, let cool, and placed in cute little boxes. We all had fun! Happy Valentine's Day đź’—

Cafe 116 students catered their first event tonight for Royal School Districts PAC Meeting. They did amazing, and everyone loved all of the food!

RHS Advanced Culinary students continued on to Davenport Grand and met with Chef Patrick who is the Restaurant Manager/Chef who oversees all 5 of the Davenport Hotels. We toured the presidential suite (where Shania Twain stayed recently) and the back of house. We saw and learned so much and the students were ready with great questions at the end!

We then ate some amazing Indian food at Karma, then dessert back at the Grand. We even ate some desserts we saw them making on our tour.

RHS Advanced Culinary class took a French cooking class today at Wanderlust in Spokane. We learned how to make steak au poivre, tomato tartes, Parisian gnocchi, and chocolate pot de creme. We had a wonderful time and learned a ton! The food was amazing and the shop owner and chef were so accommodating and helpful!
