Here is the information for our plant sale! We are doing it a bit earlier than normal due to the unique weather we’ve had this year. Also, on the 8th we’ll have a Mother’s Day special where everything is discounted. Thank you all for supporting our program and we look forward to seeing you at the sale!

Fun family event! Our FFA students are hosting a donkey basketball tournament for the whole community to enjoy! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to a hilarious night of donkey basketball fun!

This has been a semester of success! Our goal has been to focus on science, skills, and service, and our students have excelled in them all! Here is a brief recap:

- Our floral students used their skills to brighten the day for breast cancer patients in October.
- They also used their floral skills for good by making bud vases and boutonnières for veterans in November.
- Our students grew a very successful crop of lettuce in our hydroponic towers, using science to grow crops and save water. We used only 1/10th of the water that these crops would normally use!
- Our awesome FFA officers and members visited the elementary schools and taught students about technology in agriculture.
- Our students dyed carnations and made ‘Fire and Ice’ arrangements for a life skills dance hosted here at Roy High School.

Our students have gone above and beyond this semester! We are very proud of them!

TODAY! We have more flowers and more arrangements for sale at the Roy Farmers Market. The arrangements this week are a wildflower theme, perfect for outdoor spaces. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us last week and we look forward to seeing you all tonight from 5:00 to 8:00!

TODAY at the Roy City’s Farmers Market!
Our amazing agriculture students are trying something new this year. Many of our greenhouse students are taking the left over flowers from our plant sale and selling them at the farmers market here in Roy. All proceeds are going directly to the students to encourage entrepreneurial skills. Please come support our students and check out some of the beautiful flowers they have grown! Thank you!

It’s that time of year! Our plant sale is coming up! May 9th from 3 pm - 7 pm. I also want to announce that we have added something really special this year. Our students have built 14 hydroponic towers in the greenhouse! These towers have been a great educational experience for our students. As part of the sale, you can purchase any produce that is grown in the towers. We should have tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and butter crunch lettuce available. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you on May 9th!

This week our Royal FFA/Floral classes participated in an amazing service opportunity. The daffodil is the flower that symbolizes hope for those affected by cancer, so in collaboration with the Holy Cross Jordan Valley Cancer Center, our students wrote heartfelt notes and made small daffodil arrangements as gifts for the patients going through their treatments. The students also made larger arrangements for the treatment areas to brighten everyone's day. It was an amazing opportunity for our students to use their skills in floriculture to give hope and comfort for those fighting cancer. Please share this great message of kindness!
