Vermont Farm and Forest School Vermont Farm and Forest School is a Vermont independent K-5 school at Drift Farmstead in Roxbury, Vermont.

VFFS students learn both traditional and progressive skills in our hybrid indoor/outdoor program. At Vermont Farm and Forest School, our mission is to embrace academic and social learning through place-based education, while cultivating a long-lasting connection with the community and the natural world.

Vffs shared a 5 day learning retreat for educators. We dug deep into science standards, interdisciplinary connections, how to connect classrooms to farms, and took a field trip to Aurora Spinnery at Dodge Farm. So grateful to this cohort to learn and grow with!
