Community leaders from around Person County made a stop at RCS during their Education Day! They were able to hear from administration all about RCS and then got a tour of our building from a few of our amazing student ambassadors. We are happy they came to visit, and spent time learning about our school!

A few Beta Club members participated in the Fall Community Litter Sweep this past Saturday. Students Skye Fulcher and Zoey Rochefort shared a little bit about their experience!

"During the fall litter pickup, Beta members worked together to serve our community by picking up trash and litter uptown in Person County. We helped clean up roadsides and public areas, making the community look cleaner and more welcoming. This service project also helped protect the environment, show community pride, and show that we want to live in a clean and safe environment. Working together gave us a chance to give back to our town while putting Beta’s motto, 'Let Us Lead By Serving Others,' to life. "

We are so excited for Bulldog Night this evening! If you are planning to attend, please park in the Woody Parking Lot behind the school. From there you will enter the school through the back doors by the MPR and then go through the loading dock doors to get to the event. There will be some handicapped parking available in the front lot.

Admission is $5!

Our RCS athletic teams will have booths set up with:

Cotton Candy and Candy Apples
RCS Merch
Games
And so much more!

Don't forget to bring a chair to come watch the Powder Puff Game at 7, too!

Our annual Bulldog Night is this Friday, September 18 from 6 - 8 pm here at RCS!

Our sports teams will have booths featuring games, food, and more!

Then join us for our Powderpuff Football game to watch our girls face off against each other with the boys cheering them on from the sidelines starting at 6 pm!

Admission is $5 per person! Come out and enjoy a fun evening to support RCS Athletics!

The RCS Class of 2027 missed their final elementary school field day due to COVID, so this past Saturday, the Senior Activities Committee put on the Senior Olympics! Seniors competed in the following traditional field day relay games: tug of war, a relay race, a kickball tournament, and a mud race. Prizes were awarded, lunch was served, and lots of fun was had!

Thank you to supportive parents for making this happen, and to our generous sponsors: OD on Coffee, Footwear Plus, Chick-fil-a of Roxboro, Hoppers Poppers, and Stuarts. A special thank you to CM Solomon and Sons for providing the mud pit, and the Roxboro Fire Department.

RCS is seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and experienced coach to help build our Bulldog athletic program. Successful candidates must enjoy working with student-athletes, possess the ability to take initiative, and demonstrate a strong work ethic while maintaining a positive attitude.

Our Flag Football game will now be a scrimmage game! The girls will still play at 6 pm!

Today’s event has been changed from a non-conference game to a scrimmage due to no referees. There is NO cost to come out to support these ladies. Hope to see you at 6:00! Please share!

The Middle School Student Council is having a bake sale tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 15 during both lunches! Bring a couple of extra dollars to get some sweet treats and support the MS Student Council!

Mark your calendars for our 2nd Annual Car Show on Saturday, October 17 from 10 am to 2 pm at the RCS Woody Lot (at the corner of Depot St. and Foushee St.)

Registration fee is $20 per vehicle and you can register the day of the event. All proceeds will go to "Shop with the Sheriff" and all vehicles are welcome!

Plaques will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and the winners will be voted on by the public!

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, a DJ, Stay Dirty Mobile Dirty Sodas, and Martin's Concessions.

Join us for this fun event that is safe for the whole community!
