On June 4, 2026, students from PECIL and Northern Middle School participated in a Youth Leadership Training at Four Oaks Middle School in Johnston County, NC.

Hosted by the SAVE Promise Club (Students Against Violence Everywhere), this end-of-year event brought together student leaders to celebrate their impact, strengthen leadership skills, connect with peers, and begin planning for the upcoming school year. SAVE, a Sandy Hook Promise initiative, empowers students to promote belonging and help prevent violence in their schools and communities.

We are proud of our students for representing their schools and continuing to lead with purpose!

This hands-on experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at careers in agriculture through tours, farm-to-table dining, and interactive learning opportunities.
