Person County Schools is offering FREE breakfast and lunch this summer for all children and teens ages 18 and under.

This week, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible teachers with fun new shirts from Allison’s Designs, gifts from Little People Big Minds, sweet treats to celebrate “the sweetest year yet”, and delicious lunches from Admin and from one of our most beloved Community Partners, Just Love In Person💙! One of the most meaningful celebrations came during our 5th Grade Academic Banquet as we honored the hard work, dedication, and impact of the educators who pour into our students every single day.

To our teachers: thank you for the countless hours, the encouragement, the patience, and the love you give so freely. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom walls, and this week was just a small reflection of how deeply appreciated you are.

A very special thank you to Mt. Zion Methodist Church for graciously allowing us to use your beautiful space for our banquet. We are also so thankful for the church members who helped serve our students, families, and staff with such kindness and hospitality. Your support helped make the evening truly special. 💙

Our **Books on Break** event was a huge hit this week! Every single student in our school received **10 FREE books** to take home and enjoy over summer break—helping keep the love of reading alive all season long ☀️📖

To make it even sweeter, students also enjoyed a special **ice cream treat** to celebrate! 🍨💙
