🦅 WHAT AN AMAZING WAY TO BEGIN THE 2026–2027 SCHOOL YEAR! 🦅

We are excited and proud to officially share that Steadham Elementary earned a B rating with an overall score of 83 in the 2026 Texas Education Agency Accountability Ratings! 🎉

Even more exciting, Steadham earned THREE Distinction Designations: 🏆
➗ Academic Achievement in Mathematics
🎓 Postsecondary Readiness
⭐ Top 25%: Comparative Closing the Gaps

And there is even MORE to celebrate! Our Eagles grew an incredible 14 POINTS from last year and had the SECOND-HIGHEST academic growth among elementary campuses in Garland ISD! 📈👏

This accomplishment speaks volumes about the work taking place at Steadham every single day. Growth does not happen by accident. It happens because our teachers plan intentionally, respond to student needs, maintain high expectations, build meaningful relationships, and continue pushing our Eagles to grow and succeed. It happens because our students work hard, our staff remains committed, and our families and community continue to support our school.

And what a year for Garland ISD! We are also proud to celebrate our district being named the 2026 H-E-B Excellence in Education Texas District of the Year! 🏅

We have so much to celebrate, but our work is just beginning. As we soar into the 2026–2027 school year, we will continue striving for excellence and ensuring our Eagles are Safe, On Task, Achieving, and Respectful.

Every morning, there’s a familiar, friendly face waiting at our front doors to welcome our Eagles to school! ✨

Mrs. Pierce, our wonderful counselor, greets each student as they walk through the doors, helping start their day with a smile, a kind word, and a reminder that they belong here. ❤️

Her presence makes a difference from the very first moment students arrive on campus. We are so thankful for the warmth, encouragement, and care she brings to Steadham Elementary every single day!
